JOYCE BLOK MARIGOLD NATURAL RANGE
The 'marigold natural' range has been designed to suit ‘normal’ skin. The majority of ‘normal’ skins are in fact combination skins, ranging from mildly oily to mildly dry.
Because of the concentration of sebaceous glands on the forehead, nose and chin, often called the ‘T-zone’, this area tends to be slightly more oily. The cheeks and neck, with fewer sebaceous glands, tend to be a little drier.

The degree of oiliness may vary over time, influenced by hormonal cycles, climatic and seasonal changes, aging, and so on.

The range will suit a major portion of clients. The other Joyce Blok lines are available to use, either in conjunction with or perhaps instead of ‘marigold natural’, during times of extra need for a combination skin.

During a time of extra oiliness, 'herbal extra' Cleansing Skin Milk may be used on the T-zone until the area becomes less active again. Or 'rose de luxe' products may be used on areas which have become temporarily very dry, while the ‘marigold natural’ products are used on the rest of the skin. The main consideration is the level of sebaceous activity, which the therapist diagnoses.

The client’s overall costs will not change, as the products will obviously last longer if two ranges are used together.

Clients who experience regular cyclical changes could well appreciate the opportunity to vary their skin care routine quickly at home.

Marigold oil (calendula) is most noted for its soothing, protective, hydrating properties and is an ideal ingredient to help maintain a normal balance. It is the common ingredient in all of this range.

The ‘marigold natural’ range also has active, natural-source ingredients which are designed to affect the skin. Anyone who has been using inappropriate skin care routines previously may find it takes a little while for the skin to rebalance. Once settled though, clients will enjoy visibly better skin condition.
